What you pay

• Hire charge: paid in full online when you book. Hire prices include VAT. Multi-day discounts are shown in the booking total.
• Refundable security deposit: paid before collection — £300 for open trailers; £500 for box van trailers, enclosed trailers and European use.
• Europe supplement: 20% of the hire charge after any multi-day discount. Tick “Are you taking this trailer to Europe?” when booking. Overseas travel must be agreed in advance. The Europe supplement is payable separately before collection and is not included in the online hire total.

Late returns: more than 30 minutes late is charged at the trailer’s full single-day rate, including VAT. Further started 24-hour periods are charged at the same rate. If more than 24 hours overdue, up to the full security deposit may be retained against unpaid charges and reasonable, evidenced losses; any balance is refunded. Read the full hire terms.

Before collection

Bring your driving licence, matching proof of address and a number plate matching your towing vehicle. Check that your vehicle and licence are suitable for the chosen trailer and load. The trailer and its contents are not insured by BTP while in your possession; arrange suitable cover.

Standard weekday collection and return appointments are available from 10am to 5pm. Contact us before booking to arrange European travel: 01793 239039.
